Oh My, what a great day off I had!

Well I lay in my bed this morning enjoying that someone else was taking Pinky to school today and I could have a lie in. I enjoyed listening to the radio knowing that I did not have to get up this morning. WRONG WRONG WRONG! Brain has my home number! (changing it next week!)

So at 8.30am I get a call from Brain...the bookshelves brain has been waiting on (first step in world domination) has arrived and Brain needs my help in the New World Domination Plan. So like all good minions I throw on my clothes and rush to Unicorn Tree Books. BIG MISTAKE! one of many, the first being working for Brain!

Anyway to cut a really long story short I put together 5! thats FIVE bookshelves (Brain managed 2 but it tool 3 hours), took apart the whole of the science fiction, paranormal and the Historical sections and then put them all back together (Brain pretened to help but we in the know know that all Brain did was drive us all insane!)

But I have to say...and please do not tell Brain - that this might have been a good idea.

Science fiction, Paranormal, Historical and White Books (thats true life stories that makes us go Boo Hoo cos it is SAD) will all hopefully have a great new home (we just have to hope that tomorrow we can make it all fit) and will make it so much easier to find that all important book by Alexander Kent, Jayne Castle, Richard Peltzer or Anne Rice.

But if you do come in tomorrow please dont forget to remind the Brain that it is the Brains day off and that the Brain is at Work...Turnabouts fairplay I always Say...

Minion - Assistant Unicorn Tree Books Boss

Who are the minions

The minions are the employee's of Unicorn Tree Books at Lincoln Central Market, Lincoln, UK. We decided that it was unfair that "Brain" (has delusions of being Brain from Pinky and the Brain) our boss had a Blog at http://unicorntreebooks.blogspot.com/ and we didn't, so we decided to make our own.
This Bog started after we left a comment on the Brains blog and felt that this was not enough, that we needed our own voice to refute the terrible delusions that Brain suffers from -
1) that Brain Rules
2) that we listen to Brain
3) that we can spell or punctuate (If Brain wanted that then Brain needs to pay more!)
4) that we listen to Brain
5) that Brain Rules

There will be much more to follow but I'm going to bed, Brain does not pay enough for me to stay up late and write blogs...Brain will no doubt expect me to actually work tommorow...cos Brain really does expect some strange things sometimes...like putting bookcases together, moving the WHOLE BOOKSHOP AROUND ~ IN ONE DAY!!!!! ok maybe not quite but it felt like it! See Brains Blog for a biased version....the truth will follow soon!!
